About Claire Fenwicke

Originally from a farm in Walcha, Claire studied a Bachelor of Journalism and Bachelor of Creative Arts (theatre) at the University of Wollongong, and also won the JB Fairfax Award for Rural Journalism while she was a student.

She has been working as a journalist since 2016 and has experience in radio, television and print, covering everything from court and crime to community events and sport. When she's not writing, she's running after her growing family in Canberra or attempting to learn how to knit.
