Whimsical and playful desserts delivered to your door! It’s a sweet tooth’s dream and now a reality in Canberra.
Local dessert delivery service, The Sugar Deli, is making Canberra a whole lot sweeter with the latest addition to their digital dessert parlour: dessert boxes. Currently, they offer a weekly-changing dessert menu of six delicious items all made by hand and all made from scratch that can be delivered to your door the same day you order from Monday to Friday.
From Tuesday 5 March, The Sugar Deli will have an expanded menu to complement their weekly specials. The over-the-top, sugar-filled new options will feature 20 specialised sweet boxes, available for next day delivery.
All items will still be baked fresh daily by a team of dessert aficionados but the new boxes will be jam-packed with a selection of super-sweet and insta-worthy treats, each with its own unique and fun theme.
The Sugar Deli’s new owner, Caterina Pochi, took over the brand in November 2018 and has made it her first mission to fill the current gap in the dessert market.
Don’t feel sheepish to pig out on these treats.
“I wanted to create something that hasn’t been offered in Canberra before. There aren’t many options to order outrageous yet delicious dessert gift packs and I felt The Sugar Deli was the perfect brand to offer just that,” said Caterina.
The new boxes are perfect for many different occasions, whether it’s as a gift for a special person in your life, for an office morning tea or even to cater as dessert for a party.
“Some boxes are child-like and crazy-fun, while others are more sophisticated to ensure we satisfy every need from your kid’s 5th birthday party to your great aunt and uncle’s anniversary!” Caterina explains.
The menu selection will make dessert-lovers’ dreams come true, offering the likes of Nutella-themed boxes, cannoli-tower boxes, melt-in-your-mouth donut and cronut-themed boxes and so much more. There are also plenty of tempting treats for those with vegan or gluten-free requirements.
“We want to ensure everyone is well taken care of, with enough variety to appeal to all needs and preferences.”
