Come to Murrumbateman and see what the community has to offer. Regular stalls come every second and fourth Saturday of the month, selling a wide range of artisanal foods, handmade crafts, secondhand books and small-batch wine and spirits. Come and pick up a gift for a loved one, or get the ingredients for your next cooking experiment.
Binalong Community Markets
When: Sunday, 10 November (second Sunday of each month, 10 am to 2 pm)
Where: 13 Queen Street, Binalong
Cost: Free entry. Cash preferred.
Binalong Community Markets return with something for everyone. There are homemade garments, gluten-free goodies, pie stalls and cupcakes served with a smile. So come down and meet the locals.
Sutton Village Country Markets
When: Sunday, 10 November (second Sunday of each month 9 am to 1:30 pm)
Where: Sutton Oval, corner Camp & Victoria streets, Sutton
Cost: Free entry. Cash preferred.
A broad variety of stalls come to Sutton every second Sunday of the month. Cakes, leatherworks, soaps, small handcrafted paper and crochet are just some of the goods on offer. It’s a treat for the senses – there’s always something to see, eat and smell.
Yass Railway Artisan Markets
When: Sunday, 24 November (last Sunday of each month, 10 am to 2 pm)
Where: 3 Crago Street, Yass
Cost: Free entry. Cash preferred.
The Yass Railway Markets are the centre of artisanal creativity in the local area. The stalls sell high-quality crafted goods and homemade foodstuffs. Market day also includes free entry to the railway museum. So make a full day of it and see what Yass has to offer.
