Double Vision: The Corin Dam residency

Tuggeranong Arts Centre presents Double Vision: Corin Dam Residency – the creative outcome of the 2019 Craft ACT Spring Residency, from 30 November to 18 December. In the exhibition, recipients Annika Romeyn and Elizabeth Paterson offer two very different approaches to the Namadgi Landscape.

The life and times of Australia’s first Prime Minister: a retrospective

Young Engineers Workshop at the National Dinosaur Museum

When: Saturday 5 December, 9:00 am to 10:30 am
Where: The National Dinosaur Museum, 6 Gold Creek Road, Nicholls
Cost: $33 per child, bookings through Trybooking.

Kids will have the opportunity to enjoy two of their favourite things together, dinosaurs and LEGO. The event consists of a one-hour hands-on Young Engineers Workshop to build a LEGO Dinosaur and a half-hour exclusive private guided tour of the museum focusing on science explorations of the pre-historic era.

Award-winning singer-songwriter Hayley Jensen is hitting the road for a stripped-back tour to celebrate the release of her brand new single Fireworks.

The Australian Idol finalist and The Voice alumna was described as “the whole package” by coach Kylie Minogue, with her voice labelled “flawless” and “fantabulous!” by Will.I.Am. Hayley has since performed on stages across the globe – from Canada, the US, to UK, Europe and the Middle East.

BooSTers All Car Show’n’Shine

BooSTeRS is encouraging spectators, clubs, crews and groups for all makes and models to come along, show off their club, sell some merchandise, recruit and generally talk cars with other enthusiasts. Still with a Show’n’Shine feel, the show will have some trophies and prizes for the ‘best’ in categories at the show.

Kambri Film Screening: Finding Vivian Maier (2013)

Vivian Maier was a French-American woman who worked most of her life as a nanny. Her previously unknown cache of 100,000 photographs earned her a posthumous reputation as one of the most accomplished street photographers, and this film documents how Maloof discovered her work and, after her death, uncovered her life through interviews with people who knew her.

Sunset Cinema on the Eucalypt lawn

The brilliant Sunset Cinema is returning to the Eucalypt Lawn at the Australian National Botanic Gardens on 10 December, screening old favourites and new releases, with eats and drinks in a great family environment.
