Ten things to do in Canberra this week (14 - 20 May)

The Impulse of Hysteria

The Impulse of Hysteria is showing at Belco Arts Centre from 14 May to 27 June 2021. Artwork: Clementine by Ashley Cullen.

Canberra’s really pulling out all the stops to keep us occupied through these shorter autumn days.

Are you keen to check out all of the new exhibitions coming to Belco Arts, including Ashley Cullen’s ‘The Impulse of Hysteria’, or learn more about sustainable food with the second instalment of Food in the Capital?

If not, there’s the critically acclaimed A German Life, starring Robyn Nevin in the performance of a lifetime and The Huneez performing Live @ The Polo.

Consider yourself a bit of a geek? If so, the Geek Markets will be right up your alley.

Or, if you want to get out of town, Yass is holding Community Markets.

Join Canberra’s Muslim community as they celebrate Eid al-Fatr on Sunday or learn more about Aboriginal culture with a workshop presented by Aaron Chatfield on Thursday.

There’ll also be a fashion parade at Trove Canberra and The Army in Concert.

Have a great week, Canberra!
