There’s a LEGO-themed burger pop-up coming to Canberra for two days only in September and everything is awesome!
The team behind Hidden Media brings pop-ups to cities all over the world to create unique dining experiences. They’ve recently hosted events in Canberra, like the Wizards Den cocktail experience where participants brewed their own ‘potions’ in a magical atmosphere, and Karen’s Diner, where the staff were intentionally (and hilariously) rude.
This time they’re bringing a LEGO-themed burger experience called Brick Burger. It’s aimed at anyone ready to unleash their inner child as well as actual children and families. It’s one of those rare occasions where parents might actually encourage their kids to play with their food! There will be a family-friendly menu to keep kids happy, and kids-at-heart can have a beer or wine to loosen up their creative juices.
The whole restaurant will be decked out in a LEGO theme so you can step inside the world of bricks and let your imagination run wild. Participants are encouraged to unleash their creative side at the brick-building stations or join in the competition builds for a chance at some prizes.
The burgers are cleverly shaped like LEGO bricks, but we’re assured they won’t taste like plastic! Juicy beef burgers, crispy chicken and vegetarian options have all been ‘squarely’ designed to look just like the real thing while still tasting great. Build your own burger masterpiece and enjoy everyone’s colourful creations.
Your ticket to the event includes a burger and a drink, and a whole lot of fun.
But, for goodness sake, keep your shoes on and try not to step on any bricks (or burgers!)
The Brick Burger pop-up will run for one weekend from 30 September to 1 October. Tickets are on sale now from Hidden Media.
