Open seven days for breakfast, lunch and everything in between, this café is a big supporter of local produce, including the very popular Lonsdale Street Roasters coffee. Breakfast includes parfait with fresh and dry fruits, toasted Canberra muesli with first milk yoghurt, or a number of egg offerings that include standards along with some unique creations. Italian flavours tend to dominate the modern café menu and pastas feature prominently for lunch. A pappardelle comes with a Wagyu Bolognese sauce and a gnocchi with chicken and roasted capsicum. Sandwiches are available all day and are categorised as those best served fresh (including poached tuna, boiled egg, mayonnaise and fresh tomato or roasted tomato, zucchini and eggplant caponata) and those best served toasted (perhaps beef fillet with horseradish cream and rocket or smoked bacon and free range egg). A solid selection of sweets are on display and their Baker in Residence program sees local bakery goods from a changing roster of bakers supply both commercial and home baked items changing on an almost daily basis and complementing the in-house offer of the café.
